We have long believed that many of the challenges we face—nationally, statewide, and locally—stem from our vulnerable election processes. When elected officials fail to represent the interests of their constituents, we must question how they got into office in the first place.

A recent Rasmussen poll found that 60% of Americans support a paper-based election system. President Trump has also expressed his support for this approach, and Germany’s elections further highlight how other countries successfully use hand-counted paper ballots. The demand for a cost-effective,

secure, and transparent voting process is

growing nationwide.

At Project Civica, we are refocusing on our **Election Integrity Strategy Initiative** and resuming our **hand-count training sessions**, which we had paused last September in preparation for the presidential election.

Support the SAVE Act

We are working with the Election Integrity Network to advocate for the SAVE Act, which would amend the National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) to:

Require documentary proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote in a federal election, regardless of where or how registration occurs (DMV, mail, etc.).
Establish a program to remove non-citizens from voter rolls and provide states no-cost access to Homeland Security and Social Security Administration records.
Grant citizens the right to take legal action against officials who fail to enforce these laws and impose penalties on officials who register non-citizens.

We ask you to call your U.S. Representative and urge them to co-sponsor the SAVE Act before it moves out of committee. If they are already a co-sponsor, thank them for their support.

🚨 Urgent: Vote NO on Resolution 1026

Protect Taxpayer Dollars & Election Integrity

Urge the Suffolk county legislator to VOTE NO on

Resolution 1026 during the March 4 meeting.

This proposal would waste $34 million on ExpressVote XL voting machines without a competitive bidding process, breaking the promise of a fair selection.

Why They Should Oppose Resolution 1026:

Excessive Cost – ExpressVote XL costs $12,610 per machine, nearly double the cost of alternatives like Clear Ballot ($7,180).
Eliminates Paper Ballots – Current hand-marked paper ballots are reliable, verifiable, and cheaper.
Unverifiable Barcodes – Votes are counted by barcodes voters can’t read, not their actual selections.
Longer Voting Times – Touchscreen machines slow down the process, leading to long lines and voter disenfranchisement.
